Michael Perry is an accomplished leadership, human performance, and behavioral health expert. He is committed to partnering with private and public-sector leaders as they seek to create collaborative, high-performing teams and winning cultures. With over 20 years of active-duty U.S. Army service and leadership in the local community, Dr. Perry has been a force for organizational transformation through cultivating meaningful relationships, building trust, and empowering people.

A retired U.S. Army Psychologist and career leader, Dr. Perry has enjoyed the opportunity to influence organizations strategically, operationally, and tactically, with a number key positions. He has personally led teams of several individuals to several hundred, in medical facilities, academic institutions, training organizations, and combat units across the United States, Asia, and the Middle East. Valuing the unique perspective his experiences provide, equips him with a distinctive ability to connect to a diverse blend of people and to work with poise in any setting or situation.

Dr. Perry began organizational consulting, performance enhancement, leader development training, and leadership coaching as the chief of U.S. Army Recruiting Command’s leader development and performance enhancement team. In this role, he guided a team of over a dozen trainers, coaches, and support personnel to shape leaders in nearly every state in the U.S. and several territories. His team facilitated transformation of leaders at all levels in order to create supportive, trusting, and productive work environments in an organization of nearly 10,000 people.

Dr. Perry is sought after for his candor, compassion, and ability to help his clients envision previously unseen possibilities. His coaching approach meets clients “where they are” while helping them appreciate how their unique gifts impact performance, effectiveness, and potential. His consulting and coaching services cater to a wide array of organizations and leaders to include: corporate and government executives, social service agencies, defense contractors, health care professionals, faith-based organizations, and educators.

 Dr. Perry holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Medical Psychology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He is also a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Certification Program.

As an entrepreneur, Dr. Perry is the co-founder, President, and COO of Catalyst Executive Advising and Development (CEAD), LLC.
