Bravo748 Artists - Part 1 of 2

Bravo748 Military and Combat Speakers Bureau has so much more than military veterans who can get up and “speak” to a crowd. The men and women working with Bravo748 are Entertainers, Storytellers, Photographers, Radio Personalities, Authors, Songwriters, Musicians, Emcees, Actors, Comedians, Educators, Trainers, and so much more. I want to share some of the wonderful works of our team – please meet: Kevin Briggs, Justin Jordan, Stacy Pearsall, and Joshua Mantz.

Guardian of the Golden Gate: Protecting the Line Between Hope and Despair” by Kevin Briggs. For more than two decades, Briggs lived the kind of life where the smallest details could quite literally be the difference between survival and death. Kevin has helped more than 200 people find a reason to keep living. He’s lost only two. These are his stories.

And Then I Cried: Stories of a Mortuary NCO” by Justin Jordan. Jordan details life as an Air Force Mortuary Non Commissioned Officer. In his stunning debut Jordan forces the reader to walk beside him on his journey in this gruesome world.

A Photojournalist’s Field Guide: In the trenches with combat photographer Stacy Pearsall” by Stacy Pearsall. In this comprehensive, practical guide, award-winning photojournalist Stacy Pearsall offers the techniques, guidance, and inspiration needed to succeed in the dynamic and exciting field of photojournalism.

The Beauty of a Darker Soul” by Joshua Mantz. This is a journey of finding beauty within darkness. Mantz was shot and killed by a sniper on the streets of Baghdad and flatlined for fifteen minutes. He leverages his profoundly vivid near-death experience to help others overcome life’s most difficult moments.

Shooter: Combat from Behind the Camera” by Stacy Pearsall. Shooter is a visual portrait of war–the perseverance, heroism, and survival–narrated through stunning photographs and powerful essays from a female combat photographer.
